The Church that trains, gains!
One of the biggest challenges that faces the church today is maintaining a strong and effective Sunday School. The attendance of their children at Sunday School is not high on the priority list of twenty-first century parents. Therefore the task of the Sunday School teacher is not an easy one.
The twenty first century child can be a challenge! An increasing number are growing up without any scriptural knowledge or background. They live in an age of technology and computers - a challenge to any Sunday School teacher. It is therefore essential that every Sunday School teacher is equipped to meet the needs of today’s child.
CEF has been training Sunday School teachers in Ireland for almost 60 years. We simply desire to equip, empower and encourage the local church to be effective in their ministry to children.

Seminars
We are more than happy to tailor a training package that meets the specific needs of your church and teachers. You tell us what subjects you would like covered and we will put a series of seminars in place.
Each seminar lasts 40 minutes and a range of options are available:
Day long seminar - maybe covering 4 or 5 subjects
Evening/morning seminar - time to cover 2 subjects. This is a popular method and the church will often have them for a number of consecutive weeks on the same night each time.
