Seminars:

Growing on purpose

Jesus grew when no one was looking, so that when everyone was looking, He was ready.  The silent years of Jesus are filled with mystery, but Luke tells us that Jesus ‘grew’ intentionally and continuously in ‘wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.’  In this seminar we will consider the power of learning to growing on purpose.

Looking at the world through the eyes of children and young people with special needs

A seminar to help you in your ministry as you include those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in your Sunday School classes,  Summer Camps and Bible Clubs.

Reaching those with a different cultural worldview

The Great Commission commands us to make disciples of all nations. Those of different nations often come from different cultures resulting in different worldviews. Come along and hear how to cross cultural barriers without compromising the Gospel. Find help to think through what’s cultural and what’s Biblical as we seek to engage with those around us who have a different worldview.

Growing for purpose

While a boy in the temple Jesus declared that He was ‘in the things of His Father’ revealing an understanding of the trajectory and purpose of His life.  In the eighteen years that followed, Jesus grew with that purpose in mind, serving as an example to us of promise and inspired process.  In this seminar we will consider how clarity of purpose can empower our commitment to growth.

Helping young people understand different worldviews through the lens of the gospel

Young people are being bombarded with numerous worldviews. In this seminar we will think through how to speak about culture in a way that plugs in to a bigger and better reality—the story of King Jesus, and His cosmic plan for the world. So that young people can be equipped to engage with culture in a way that helps their relationship with Christ and points others to Him.
