I am Ida Johnston and I came into the work of CEF in 1978. After a practical time and a period of deputation I moved to the south of Norway in 1981. In Oslo, the capital city, I learnt the Norwegian language and helped Ruth Turnwall, the CEF worker, with Good News Clubs, 5 Day Clubs and teacher training. Ruth retired one year after I came to Norway. In August 1985 I moved 2000 km north to Norwegian Lapland to begin a pioneer work in a huge area where there was very little evangelism of children. God has opened doors to hold weeks of Children’s Mission, GNC’s, Holiday Bible Clubs, Junior Youth Challenge, camps and teacher training.
